The 1er Corps Franc de la Seine and the 54e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne, are proud to present
the [EU] Friday Historical Linebattle.

BACKGROUND:

The Historical Friday Linebattle is an event that aims to play on both NW's default maps and custom maps. The events intention being to bring together skilled regiments into a fun and friendly atmosphere, while retaining a set of rules to make the game balanced and enjoyable - While also being a challenge on the field!

Every Friday at - 19:30 UK time. (Currently GMT+1)
Server name will be Friday_Historical_Event
Make sure to be on our TS (5.9.87.133:9982) for the pre-battle meeting to receive informations
for your team at 19:15 UK time. (Currently GMT+1)

CLASS LIMITS:

Line : Minimum is 10 and no maximum
Light Infantry : Minimum is 6 and maximum is 15
Skirmishers : Minimum is 6 and maximum is 15
Cavalry : Minimum is 5 and maximum is 15
Artillery : Minimum is 3 and maximum is 10 (Arty guards allowed, may take 1 sapper only)

RULES:

If you have less than 3 men in your regiment you have to join an another line, cavalry must dismount
Fire in charge is allowed
Global chat is allowed, but don't spam! And keep the atmosphere friendly and fun  .
No ramboing or reloading out of formation. This could result in a slay without warning. You were warned!


LINE:

Must fire in formation and maintain a line formation
Crouching is not allowed unless you're in double ranks

LIGHT INFANTRY/SKIRMISHERS:

3 man spacing is allowed (6 if you are skirmishers)
May crouch
1 sapper allowed

CAVALRY:

Stay close to your unit, ramboing cav is a big problem
Dragoons must be in formation to fire in horse back
Dragoons may fire in charge.
Dragoons may dismount and play as skirmishers formations

ARTILLERY:

2 artillery pieces maximum
Both cannon and howizters are allowed, but no rocket artillery!
1 sapper allowed

Replacing. Trying to scale it down to avoid horrendous lag and trolling  . Most of the old participants don't know yet... and I don't know which ones to keep. Most dropped after that last event anyway, so it's ok.
