M&B regiments will die out when m&b 2 comes out! We need M&M 2!

By the time M&B 2 comes out Battle cry of freedom will already be about a year old, and by that time people will already have switched over to BCoF, i really see no sense in making another DLC/mod for M&B 2.

But what I am saying, is M&B Warband will die off after a while, this is what I find scary.

Not necessarily people who like things to do with the Napoleonic wars will stick with NW until a better one comes out.

Still here 4 years later, if it dies out now it will still have had a good run.  Only way NW dies is if BCoF is good (prob wont be) and L'aigle is better (and actually releases, not another Second Age [hyped up mod for Warband that never came out])

Warband will not die, the first Mount&Blade has not died, and Fire&Sword has not died. Other various games that were replaced by others years ago are still being played.

What makes you think that Warband will die?

If you are talking about the Napoleonic era dying out, i do not think it will die out either, unless L'Aigle replaces it.

That all depends on how their MP will turn out though. The SP looks great so far, but once again (seeing I'm quite sure I said this before somehow) we haven't seen a lot yet of the MP side. Logical though seeing SP is their piority.

L'Aigle has good MP (with good SP too) > People move over
L'Aigle is bad > NW still here, people get hyped for BCoF because its best chance for new game
BCoF is bad > People stay in NW till end of time

It's a real shame TBH that FSE and Docm aren't working together. I'm sure there would have been profit for both NW and L'Aigle.

And it would perhaps end the dem discussions about people saying they will screw NW and head to L'Aigle.

Exactly. But surely I think that the developers must recognize there is potentially a gap in the market for a l'Aigle MP. It would also be interesting as it probably will bring back the much coveted M&M gameplay (melee system etc) which would be exciting as well.
