This site is sold for 15mm the best IMO http://www.oldglory15s.com/ They are wicked small tho easy to paint tho not much detail unless you are me... then alot and very small brushes!  ;)

Thanks, appreciate it, but unfortunately I cant order from the US :\ no credit card available. I'm limited to iDeal or Direct Debit I'm afraid.

Herro,

I decided to go with this one: http://www.modelbouwverf.nl/index.php?action=article&aid=38229&group_id=20000482&lang=NL

My only remaining question is which colours of paint to use, are there any specific colours? I'd like to keep it as authentic as possible, but sadly I'm totally new to this :D

Thanks in advance!

I'm not really into miniature modelling but, I have one set. A French Line Infantry regiment with a couple of rankers, NCO's, a sapper, a flag and a officer on horseback. They look quite nice.

I ended up ordering the package along with some stuff to get started like different kinds of bruches, different kinds of glue and some random accessoires. Figured I'd also get some primer so I can atleast do something before I find out which colours I need to paint eventually :D

Keep you guys posted ::)

If I could recommend something, for paints I'd get games workshops's "cinidel" paint. It is pretty expensive but this is what I've used my whole time painting and never ever a complaint

Thanks, I'll check it out! How do I choose the right colour though? Or is it decided by feel, and there are no specific colours?

You might have to select the country, I don't recall how to do that but here is something that is really helpful! Also would help you get into the miniatures more with others but the store could help you with painting! and also you can see the colors better anyways heres a link: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/storelocator/search.jsp

Check out stormthecastle.com, he does all kinds of crafts involving miniatures (as well as other things). His website has several tutorials on them as well as dioramas for backdrops(like the one seen in your second pic) if you wanted to get really into it.

I would highly recommend https://www.baccus6mm.com/ for Napoleonic miniatures. The small scale may be daunting but the small miniatures make it so you can paint loads in one sitting and detail is not so much of a problem as you rarely look at them closely. You get a great en masse feeling when you base them up. I recently finished the 33rd regiment of loot line companies and am now working on the 92nd and the 88th line a light companies.

Looking Good! If i may. id recommend using an undercoat of black or white, it really highlights the details and if you don't paint an area it is still painted. Keep up the good work.

That actually makes sense, thanks! I used a grey primer with these.
