Hey guys need help with something....

For some reason i cannot see the new skins when i put them in the texture folder.... can you guys give me a step by step guide on how to make this work in case i did something wrong?

You put the .dds files in texures, and all the others in resource

Ahh thanks, I was trying to put both in textures! Too bad I am already half way into reinstalling warband.. :-[

The dds files into textures and the brf ones in resource. You also need winrar7 to extract it :)

Hey Atilla I finally got around to doing the bicorn replacement mod, but I don't suppose in the future you are willing to do a reskin of the Austrian Artillery and General bicorns for Prussian and Austrian styles?

Not a big do right away thing but when you have a moment to spare. And thanks for the guide.

Also, I take it Heavy Cav helmets are impossible to hat swap? I attempted and unlike with everything else I was met with baldness and blurry weird texture effects using them.

Pretty much stopped doing anything for vanilla NW

As for the cav helmets thing. What you're talking about is most likely helmets that have that tail thing at the back like the French dragoon which is animated so has its own rigging, unlike other hats including heavy cav helmets like the carabineers and British blue horse guards guys.

Unrigged hats and rigged hats are positioned in a different place to each other.

So what happend most likely the hat you put in was in the unrigged position and therefore didnt show up. Same happaned to me on my fist attempt at the Scots Greys.

The charging animation should only take effect at medium to top speed. Or atleast it did when i last used it.

Well you can reach top speed in 2 seconds. If you just waking or trotting with the horse the sword should be shouldered.


what units do the Swedish/Spanish units replace?

The lifeguard replaced french old Guard and the line infantry replaced the polish line infantry.

And the Spanish line replaced the polish lne as well i think.
