It was here that Sergeant-Major Jean Georges Pauly, cut off by a body of Russian Cavalry was called upon to surrender. Replying Je Passe Quand Même he rallied a handful of men and forced his way back to the regiment using musket butt and bayonet killing or wounding more than 40 Russians in the process.

Is there a longer version written anywhere in which I could use as a history on the thread.

I was here since the birth of the 21e, granted its not the FKI but i believe that we have shown major promise as a entire regiment. The future seemed rather gloomy when Millander told us about the 21eme Ligne. But I'm glad that the future holds promise and fortune. I've seen great leaps and bounds with guys who only bought this game a few weeks ago. Great Linebattle Gentlemen. Great Line battle. May the future hold even more promise and glory and hopefully by then with more practice and skill and hopefully more recruits; will we be able to bear the same glory the 1stFKI had or better yet even more then it had. Now that day shall come. I'm more certain of that than death and taxes. You guys show the utmost promise. I'm glad to be apart of the community with you guys. May the Melee gods show us the way with our bayonet and we keep up our Marksmanship. I'm not going to lie we are proving to be. You men should be proud of yourselves. I know i am heavenly proud of you since the birth of this French counter-part. I can see it already now, People on NA_1, on the forums agreeing that the 21eme de Ligne is best North American. - Redemption (Dylan)
