There are some positives, instead of people agreeing by post they just agree with the button instead of spamming why they agree. But yeah, I don't like it either.

Let's not forget the 'Champions of..' fiasco. This would be just as bad, and would, in the end, be completely pointless. I'm not going to elaborate any further, as it seems that most points have been covered thus far.
