Losing Connection every 5 minutes

This is why I have not been playing... Every time I get on groupfight, I loose connection. Native works fine as well as official servers. Also, my other computer runs it with no loosed connections. I guess I will re install now.

I think it depends on the server, I had this on EU1. I joined a CB server later and it worked fine, also you might try restarting your pc

And thanks for the restart tip, i did that and now it works fine, it seems to have different solutions every time this problem comes up

Mini-window splash screen on start up
Configure / Advanced / Check the box that says "Force Single Threading"


Let me know if that helps!  That's my default reply to anyone who gets disconnected all the time. 

Usually fixes disconnection problems 95% of the time for people who get bumped offline while attending large 200 man events.

I've got the same issue aswell and i tried enabling force single threading but unfortunately that didn't help, i've tried so many solutions but none of them work, i'm running out of ideas and it looks as if i won't be playing Napoleonic Wars for a while.

I've been having this problem for several months and here is what fixed it for me:

Mini-window splash screen on start up

Configure / Advanced / Check the box that says "Force Single Threading"
Configure / Video / Set Max. Frame Rate to 90

"Check the box that says "Force Single Threading"" did not help me at all. Actually it reduced my playing time from 5 to 2 mins. But when I reduced the frame rate, I stopped having this problem. So you might try to reducing the max frame rate only.

wouldn't that give you massive fps lag tho; if you're running on a dual core or higher.

Bumping this as i have the same issue and i have had this issue for quite a while and it's really a pain in the backside.

I have seemed to fix my issue, there was a setting i had to tweak in my Virgin Media Superhub settings. 

For anyone else with a SuperHub (Or this could be the same for any router) you need to go to your routers settings, if you don't know how to do this I will link a tutorial below. When you're in your router settings go to advanced settings and find something called DHCP settings, click on this, then there should be something called lease time (atleast there was for me) and theres a drop down box next to it which by default i think is set to 1 hour, set it to 1 week and click apply, lease time is how long it takes until your IP address is refreshed. so when your IP address is reset, it seems to quickly restart your router without you knowing which causes the disconnects.

I may also have a possible fix to this:

If you play Warband through Steam, and you get a popup with your Warband and Napoleonic keys and never did anything with them as of yet, try the following:

1) Download mb_warband_network_test if it isn't already in your Warband folder  (steam/common/mbwarband, or something like that). I attached the file to this post and also uploaded it here: http://www.fileswap.com/dl/Yq9PWiyYV/

2) Extract the file to your warband folder (if needed) and run the exe file and it should give you an activation popup.

3) Choose activate and type in the Warband serial (not the napoleonic one)

4) It should give you a confirmation that the serial was accepted - now open up Napoleonic Wars

5) Connect to a server - it will give you a popup asking for your NW serial key

6) Type in your NW serial key into that box (no dashes or spaces) and it should allow you to connect.

Problem solved for the moment.

Configure your "rgl_config.txt"
Have this change the number :
use_secure_connection = 1
   max_number_of_connections = 9

In "rgl_log.txt" (In steam/steammaps/common/mount&blade warand games folder)
Found this & change the number to :
use_secure_connection : 1
   max_number_of_connections : 9

That's worked for me ! I hope the same for you !
