Slow and steady and everyday meticulous modifying to get better looking natives, we may just have to reserve them for phase 2 as we are trying to get them without possibility of warpainted faces being just a player skin. It's a long story but surely you have noticed improvements on the updates posts?

And I'm eager to finally release this sometime.

Regarding the Colour Sjt sub-class idea, which is a new unit in the Infantry-tab regiment. It seems 6 *ranks* being Ranker, Ensign, Colour Serjeant, Officer, Drummer, Fifer is great and works as intended but there is an annoying side-effect being the Glengarry Light Infantryman unit moved to the end of selectable Voltigeur Canadiens. Then when I click on the Light Infantryman unit it brings the highlighted regiment to GLI section and moves the 1 Player notification of which regiment you have selected from Voltigeurs to GLI.
So tl;dr back to the drawing board on this one.

Without the presentations for rank_6 the new class appears but the fifer is out of the picture in the menu, literally.

The Rebel, I told you we are full of infantry regiments and specialist space for both sides, you could ask a mini-mod reskinner to make the 1st Royal Scots Grenadiers, have you tried asking Mr. Kochi? In the development process for War of 1812 I coded in all the available resources, we did not have a 1st unit available when I joined to code in the main mod content in weeks so hence it is not in the mod.

The Royal Scots are not on the Modules list of Regiments but if you would like to re-skin a unit to get them in I can give you the textures to get you started.

By the modules list of regiments I mean the regiments that will appear on the selection list when you are in the game. We only have room for 5 infantry regiments on the list for the British faction and unfortunately can not include all the regiments that served in the War. The only way you can get the Royal Scots Grenadiers in the game now is to re-skin a regiment that will already be in game. For example, by downloading the skins (textures) on the link I provided in the previous email and putting them into the game using the Open.brf software and replacing an existing in game regiment. If you do not have the software there are download links in the modification section of the FSE forums as well as tutorials in how to use it.

If you just want to reserve the title of Royal Scots Grenadiers for your gaming regiment that has already been done by Charles William who started this development thread. But, nobody on the development team ever committed to putting the Royal Scots on the in game selection menu for British regiments. That has to be a misunderstanding.

OK W.I.P. British 41st Sergeant coming up

We now have 6 'ranks' of a troop Ranker, Sergeant, Ensign, Officer, Drummer, Fifer for U.K.
We got around the extra sergeants popping up in troop selection by ironically adding new sergeant and colour sergeant classes to move the extras off the menu.

Wo1812 is coming along nicely, to follow soon will be pictures of sergeants of the 41st, Canadian Fencibles, 89th and 93rd Sutherland Highlanders units.

Each unit specific sergeant will have a nice retextured sash to make them stand out.

VC need custom sash if possible, nevermind it's the black striped 89th one. Hurrah for accuracy checks.
The grenadier shoulder wings are placeholders until tufts custom sergeant model is done. (Except 89th I think being foot guards and 93rd Sutherland Highlanders the CF one is indeed a placeholder although shiny it may be. Except the VC too they have the shoulder wings as well.)

This now makes me beg the question, one striped arms or two on uniform? Also any sergeants desired for other units? (Like royal artillery, marines, light dragoons, rocket artillery.)
