PROVE IT

I, together with the beloved Bacon, will host a Melee-Championship. Yes. CHAMPIONSHIP.
YOU can proove to the whole community that you are the best.

There will be three (3) categories in which you can test your mettle.
1. Groupfighting.
2. Swordsmanship
3. Bayonett

The groupfighting will consist of groups of 4 players vs another group of 4
Swordsmanship and bayonett will be 1 v 1

All competitions will be held as a first-to-three style or also +2 competition. You must reach 3 wins and have +2 wins on your opponent to win
That means 3 wins= 1 match won =  3 points
Draws are if the scores are as followes: 1:0   1:1   2:1  2:2  3:2  3:3
A draw is rewarded with 1 point per man/team

You may discuss in this forum, and also sign up. There will be a Steamgroup for this available shortly.
The event will be announced via the steamgroup once enough people have signd up (by connecting to the steamgroup and contacted an admin on their entry (Group/Sword/bayonett))

I have a question, will the tournaments be at the same time or is it possible to play on each one ?

it will be at different times. i was thinking something like:
7:00 Group
7:30 Swords
8:00 rifles

should be enough time. will anounce more via steamgroup when i have a date and a time.
in theory, there will be an announcement a day before, and an event notification on the day itself.
Then connect to a teamspeak i will later specify (Probably DA TS) to sign up in what exersize you want to participate.
after signup we will start immidiatly.
every man/group will fight everyone who applyed and then the 10 or 5 best will be fighting again for the championship.

half an hour will not be enough to make a tournament, you'll have to say who fights against who where and when, to resolve problems, to precise some things that some guys could have misunderstood...
