I agree. Maybe a few regiments with that style of hat, but otherwise I always found those to be hideous. The one regiment (can't remember the name) that had those but where instead of Blue and Gold it was Blue and White, it looks decent on them.

Otherwise, ugh. Tricornes please.

Definitely. Can't waste the awesomeness of the Dal regementet, who fought at Narva and Poltava with those hats, can you? Besides, they had Tricornes at Poltava.
I imagine those hats would be quite hard to make, too. Even more reason for Tricornes!

Seems most regiments had tricornes anyway, at least at Poltava. I'll probably work on some Swedish uniforms over the weekend.

Like I said, that hat was rather common on various Swedish regiments, so including one->two regiments that use that hat (specifically the one regiment I was thinking of that I can't remember the name of) just for the sake of accuracy. The 'Narke-Varmland' regiment, or something along those lines, looked pretty cool, IIRC. Wore that hat, but red and blue on some of their other pieces.

This picture (Yes, it's ETW, but they used historical references as shown when you right click the regiment) for it's uniform.

I just love the unique coloring. The white+blue regiment that uses those hats, and the 'Narke-Varmland' one as pictured above, bearing red+blue+yellow.

Ffs, there better be pikemen. The pike the partizani randomly span with will be perfect for pikemen, and then give them a side-sabre to go along with their loadout.

I would rather have it as a separate class, or as a weapon you could choose.

So if you choose a line infantry unit, you can pick between a musket or a pike instead of a random spawn.
