The best 6 teams in regards to strength of community and leading are (in no particular order) CIS,GB,FRA,NL,GER,POL so it doesn't make a lot of sense if 3 of those 6 are in the same group (B), whilst group A you can clearly see is a weak group aside from Germany.

Also I would like to add, what is the point of groups if only 2 nations are going to be eliminated via them? It just seems like a massive waste of time and effort that will drag this tourney on for months.

3 will be eliminated. But yes I agree it isn't as many as we'd have liked but we didn't get as many nations as we'd hope to achieve the brackets we wanted. One more team and it'd have been 4 teams eliminated out of 12 which I believe would have been more fulfilling.

3 will be eliminated. But yes I agree it isn't as many as we'd have liked but we didn't get as many nations as we'd hope to achieve the brackets we wanted. One more team and it'd have been 4 teams eliminated out of 12 which I believe would have been more fulfilling.

Then you should cut the progressing teams down to 2, make it so that the two group winners with the largest amount of rounds get a free pass to the semi finals and make the other group winner and the 3 2nd placed teams fight it out. If you continue with this current rule set then the tourney will last for months with everyone losing interest.

At the moment you only play 3 games in the group stage. That's 3 weeks.

Only the teams who then progress to the knockout rounds would then have to play a maximum of 4 games. That's 7 weeks, it's hardly long for a national tournament.

But I would be open to making a deadline for the group stage matches to be done in two weeks instead of 3. Just means you guys have to play two matches in one week at one point.

That would bring the tournament time down to around 6 weeks which should hardly be too long for people to lose interest.

The idea is to have the numbers balanced for the final Stage, and if you look at the Schedule you can see that this is literally over in less than a month (at this point).
This brings me to my second (your first) point:

First the groups were randomly drawn. But also we left them like they were because they actual allow a balanced tournament because: We have two groups where 2 are striked and one group where 1 is striked. If we would put 6 stronger teams 2x in all 3 groups, most likely the weaker nations would stand no chance to reach the final stage. Group A got one stronger and 3 underdog Teams so that at least one Underdog can reach the final stage, Group B got 3 stronger but with NORDEN a quite strong Underdog so also a chance for them to beat at least two stronger teams, Group C got one strong team and two Underdogs while beeing the 3xGroup so also at least one gets through. That way we have a real chance of at least 3 underdogs beeing in the final stage and therefore a more balanced tournament. Of course the stronger teams have still the same chance of just beating the Underdogs in their matches.

Should've just taken the 6 strong nations (GB, GER, FRA, NL, CIS, POL) and just randomly assigned two in each group. And after that you randomize the rest of the nations.
