Serious one :^)

Recruiting today!

The 60th is a regiment for those looking to relax and enjoy the occasional event mostly siege. In events we ask members to be polite and retained keeping all banter within the Teamspeak, aggression or personal attacks/trolling ingame will not be tolerated. If you're someone who's been in a few regiments has done the whole NWL/NWC thing, averaged about 2k hours ingame and looking to still play but not in something demanding and serious? well sign up and join the Rifles. ~ [WaT] Marks be the name

After a brief break I am looking for a Regiment again.

- Must be Arty/Rofles/Lights.
- Must have a active community (no keyboard, event-joining-then-leaving, warriors).
- Must respect that I play a lot of NordInvasion, which is of course a far better mod then NW.
- Must have some banter around events and during events.

If you think I'll suit your regiment contact me, If not, bugger off.

Spoiler
Yes I have high standards, and probably have better luck in creating my own regiment ayy

Lets try again, maybe interested in line.

An account of the 3rd Regiment of Foot at the battle of Albuera.
Over the centuries the regiment has fought in many countries but it is from the Peninsular War that the regiment chose to celebrate a particular battle in which they were to earn great fame and honour.

On 16th May 1811 the Buffs were ordered to re-capture a hill at Albuera from the French. Finding that they could not shake the enemy by fire, they advanced with the bayonet, but were suddenly attacked in the rear by no less than four regiments of French Hussars and Polish Lancers. A dreadful massacre followed, the Buffs fought bravely but the ranks were soon broken by the charging cavalry. Ensign Thomas, who carried the Regimental colour, was called on to surrender, after his escort had been cut down. Crying “Only with my life” he was himself cut down and mortally wounded and the colour captured. Ensign Walsh, carrying the King’s colour was wounded and captured but Lieutenant Latham rushed forward and seized the colour. Defending it with heroic gallantry he refused to yield. A French Hussar seized the flag-staff and struck at Latham with his sabre severing one side of his face and nose. Latham still continued to struggle to protect the colour. A second stroke severed his left arm but dropping his sword he seized the staff and refused to yield, continuing to fight until he was thrown down and trampled on and pierced with lances. At this moment the British cavalry arrived and the French fled. Latham was later found, so badly wounded he was unrecognizable, with the colour, which he had torn from the staff, inside his tunic. In spite of the severity of his wounds Lieutenant Latham recovered and lived for many years to wear the gold medal presented to him by his brother officers.

The losses of the regiment at Albuera were 4 officers and 212 rank and file were killed, 13 officers and 234 wounded and 3 officers and 178 missing, a total of 644.

The 30th is a North American regiment for Mount & Blade Warband: Napoleonic Wars, formed on May 12th, 2014.This regiment is the spiritual successor to the 15th (Yorkshire, East Riding) Regiment of Foot, founded by PurplePanda& TheMightyLips. We are a regiment dedicated to professionalism and maturity. The 15th (Yorkshire, East Riding) Regiment of Foot was a very large and active regiment until the loss of interest and lack of attendance that led up to its disbandement. But now we are back and ready to make the 30th twice as large as the 15th, hence the name 30th. The regiment has been around for more than 1 year. This regiment is now command by Lips and Carson.

The regiment spent most of the French Revolutionary Wars (1792-1802) back in the Mediterranean. It fought at Toulon (1793), on Corsica (1794) and Minorca (1798), before moving to Italy and Malta in 1799. The 30th then joined the British force in Egypt in 1801. It returned to Britain in 1802 and a year later formed a 2nd Battalion. This regiment served in the Peninsular War (1808-14) from 1809, fighting at Fuentes de Onoro (1811) Badajoz (1812) and Salamanca (1812), where it captured a French eagle. It had suffered such losses by December 1812 that its six weakest companies had to return to Britain to recruit, while the four strongest ones merged with a battalion of the 44th Regiment of Foot to form the 4th Provisional Battalion. This dissolved in 1813 and the four companies from 2nd Battalion re-joined the six newly-recruited companies in Jersey later that year. 2nd Battalion moved to Holland in 1814 and fought at Waterloo (1815), at one point forming square and resisting 11 French charges. In 1817 the battalion was disbanded. In the meantime, 1st Battalion sent five companies to fight in Hanover and northern Germany in 1805, before regrouping the following year to travel to India. It stayed there for over 20 years, sending detachments to Java and Portuguese Macao in 1807-08. It also fought in the Third Maratha War (1817-19).
For the next 35 years it alternated between overseas postings, including Bermuda, Nova Scotia and the Ionian Islands, and time in Britain and Ireland. The regiment deployed to the Crimean War (1854-56), serving at the Alma (1854), Inkerman (1854) and Sevastopol (1855).

13e Brigade de Légion Étrangère is recruiting  if you are looking  for Cavalry , Skirm , Artillery , Line inf

"Legio Patria Nostra", the “Legion our homeland”

The French foreign Legion is the military aspect of the ancient tradition of welcome and integration into French society. Authorized to recruit foreigners from all over the world, the Legion must then train and form these men to live, work and eventually fight together as a closely homogenous and tightly knit group. Since the creation of the Legion
The unique singularity of the Legion takes root in its capacity to animate and maintain this specific state of mind which permits the ultimate and unusual sacrifice. Thus, the membership and sharing of these common values forges the souls of legionnaires. The discipline, the sacredness of the mission, the search for excellence, mutual respect and solidarity form the heart of its “honor code”, illustrated by the inscription on the colors of the French foreign Legion: Honor – Fidelity.

Hi everyone. I'll get straight to the point, I'm looking for a Regiment... a regiment like no other! A historically accurate regiment. I'd prefer if it were a British regiment, but any would do. I'm not new to this game, I've got over 1100 hours on it, and I've actually put it down for a while now. I'm looking to pick the game back up and start back on the regimental scene. A bit about me; I'm a junior in high school, but I'm currently taking more College classes than high school. I'm a WWII reenactor out of South Carolina, and I have a passion for history. Again, I must stress that I'm looking for a historically accurate regiment. I understand that there is little no community for it out there, but I'm willing. If you wish to contact me, contact me at https://steamcommunity.com/id/GingerCarter/ One thing I forgot to mention was, that yes, I'm American! This means I want NA regiments.
