Given that I'm absolutely terrible at making any kind of introduction, I'll keep this short and simple;
Who are we?We're a small collection of friends who seek to enjoy the games we play, whilst maintaining a level of maturity that is higher than most.
We get our enjoyment out of simply playing a game, regardless of winning or losing, and will in many cases put ourselves at a disadvantage
intentionally.
Why should I join?Other than the obvious advantages of joining a smaller group, we dedicate more of our time to having fun, rather than administrating a large
group of people. Having fewer people also allows us to go to line-battles as a specialized role, rather than always having a large percentage of
the regiment run as line infantry. Being a smaller, less disciplined group, we will not enforce PTS, for those of you tired of having to ask permission
to speak during events.
What exactly do you guys do?Whenever in-game, we simply play. We don't try to impress with skill, nor do we claim we're the best. (Of course, that excludes my extreme
arrogance with regard to light infantry, but that's.. something else..)
What should I know before I join?We're a North American regiment, so that has to be taken into account if you're looking to join us, as our event times may not be forgiving for
someone in, for example, Germany.
We have only a single rule, though common sense is expected to be heeded when you're contemplating doing something;
- Racism and homophobia will not be permitted within the group. A joke's a joke, but there is a point where it goes too far.
We will ask you to choose a 'real' name when you join. This will be the name you use throughout our community, if you wish to join for more
than just NW, so choose wisely. I will provide you with a list of surnames, should you need some help.
