The regiment was raised in 1688 as Colonel Sir Robert Peyton's Regiment of Foot. It was numbered the 20th Foot in 1751, to which East Devonshire was added in 1782. In May 1838, the 20th was permitted to add on its Colours the words Vimiera and Corunna in commemoration of the battles in which it was engaged at Vimiera on 21 August 1808 and at Corunna on 16 January 1809.

On 1 July 1881, following the reorganisation of the infantry, the East Devonshire became the Lancashire Fusiliers. In April 1968, the Lancashire Fusiliers merged with the 5th (The Royal Northumberland Fusiliers), the 6th (The Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers), and 7th (The Royal Fusiliers - City of London), to form the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.

Introduction
The 1tesPmrs was raised from the merge between the 2eSuisse and the 64e, both of the XIe Corps, which occurred on December 1st, 2013. We are an active regiment, located primarily in North America, with members from South America as well. We aim to provide both historical realism and accuracy as well as applied tactics for the Napoleonic Wars game while playing battles, as well as a healthy community to our members. While the regiment is focused on Napoleonic Wars, we also make presence in other games such as Arma 3, mods for Mount & Blade: Warband such as L'Aigle, Iron Europe, and Century of War, and eventually continue playing into Battle Cry of Freedom. However, these are not the only games we play as groups. Look at any pair of people, or any individual, and you will find a wide plethora of gaming interests, from first-person shooters, to real-time strategy games, to roleplaying and massive multiplayer. To play with your fellow member, or a member of this regiment, all you must do is ask! We are a very friendly bunch of people once you get to know us.

The 63e is very passionate about our members, community,  and will help each other in every way we possibly can. We're very observant, insightful, and helpful to our members and enjoy having line battles together. We will professionally train with our members and have a large variety of events. Led by Colonel Karth, we expect all of our members to act mature and treat our peers kindly. We are an active regiment who have a lot of combat experience and training to offer for those who are seeking a modest community. Our NCO's and CO's are excellent leaders with immense experience and act in the most tolerant and corrective manner possible. We hold high gesticulations for all newcomers who seek to join. We interact with our members on TeamSpeak 3 and Steam on a daily basis and are very friendly to all of our guests.  During our training, we go through shooting practice, melee practice, and group fighting to improve the experience of our troops to ensure they are at their full potential. We are a fairly competitive regiment with a large community who as well as playing Mount and Blade (Lots of mods like NW, IE, Mercs, PW) also play other games like WarGame, EU4 and more. The discipline level here is rather high when it comes to events but outside we are just as casual as any other regiment.

Our Rules:

1. Be friendly. If someone annoys you, report them to someone of NCO rank or higher or just anyone you know who will then contact us.

2. Don't mess about during line battles. We all want to have fun playing the game but if you're disobeying orders team killing or just getting the rest of the regiment killed, you are ruining the game for everyone else.

3. If people start mass team killing, do NOT join in under any circumstances. This brings a bad name to our regiment and will not be tolerated. (If you accidentally team kill someone, just apologize and you will be fine!)

About Us & Recruitment   Founded on the 10th of April 2012, after the release of Mount&Blade: Warband - Napoleonic Wars, as the 42nd Regiment of Foot - the Black Watch from veterans from the Mount&Musket mod of Warband, choosing to represent the most senior and - arguably - most famous Highland Regiment. The Regiment has since gone through the rocks and weathered many storms, nearly crashing and coming to an end once or twice. However through comradeship and combination of "play for fun" and historical immersion the Regiment has come out the better through it's trials. With a sense of historical appreciation and immersion, we can structure our Regiment through the use of historically accurate Ranks and formations. Now, while we realize it is only a game the history and appreciation of the historical 42nd and modern Black Watch is never far away. Upon acceptance of enlistment we provide our recruits with a Field Manual, that explains the basics of the Regiment, our codes of conducts and hand-made drawings of our formations.
