Felix had to give away his referee role due to a lack of time. He is replaced by Hawk (British).

I wrote a lot of "official" stuff tonight. I would like to finish on a more personal note.
Now that the first matches have been announced, I wish to all the very best of luck. I truly and sincerely hope you will enjoy this tournament, the matches you will play, the teams you are fighting for, everything. I would strongly advise you all not to get too serious on these few details such as rules, or silly discussions that lead nowhere. It's not what makes an event good or bad. Focus on the competition, don't forget we're all here for the same purpose: having fun. This might very well be one of the last if not the last real competitive cavalry event we have on this game, try to keep the best memory of it.
I will keep doing my very best to make this event run smoothly, free of all drama and other meaningless quarrels. I hope you guys are on the same line.

A first Media post will hopefully be released in a few days! That will give you nice things to read and comment.

It has come to our attention that the Benelux has no Luxembourgians. Which ofcourse needs to have some repercussions.
Their name is in our "Union" called the "BeNeLux" Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg. We find that this is unfair for our good Belgian and Dutch kin fighting on the battlefield, giving their lives for the Benelux, when there are no Luxembourgians doing the same to protect their part of that very union!

Therefor we request that you consider our following question.
We would like to rename ourselves from the Benelux to the Belgium-Netherlands Coalition Short BNC.

In the future though if any Lux players want to play that will then mean they have no team they can play within (as they'll never have enough for their own team) and at least in line regiments I know a few Lux players, in NWWC back in GB/UK we almost never had any Irish or Welsh players in several years but they should still have a nation to play in should someone come about.

I can change your tag from BNL to BNC, no problem. However if a player from Luxembourg player pops by, he will be allowed to join your team (if you want him of course), this doesn't change. There is no need to reduce the teams' possibilities and opportunities for new players to participate.

The quote refers to the battle of Sahagun, during the Peninsular Campaign, where the British 15th Hussars Regiment charged and beat a larger force of French dragoons. Hundreds of French were captured, one of them told a British officer this sentence, as to say he was feeling better about being beaten by the British hussars rather than the Spanish ones, of lesser quality.
I find it to be a funny quote, and I like that it shows the French had respect towards the Brits despite the 'hatred' of the times.
