He was in a war with turkey but a Turkish squad defeated him and took his leg to make themselves a kebab because it was on a very cold winter night and Turkish supply trucks couldn't make it to the squad due to a blizzard.

After Legder lost his leg he devoted himself to perfect the art of one legged karate tho issues kinda arrived the moment he started training finding out that for most stuff you actually need 2 legs...

There for he abandoned the idea of becoming a true warrior and accepted the fact that he would become a SJW and atleast could fight for a cause which didn't need to be fought over regardless.
