Cavalry capture as many flags as possible to reduce UK tickets to 0 before they reach safety.Talavera proved a phyrric victory for the allies, with heavy losses forcing the British to re-consider their position and withdraw back into Portugal, closely followed by Marshal Soult. Soult is expelled from Portugal a second time at the Lines of Torres Vedras, permitting a second allied offensive in 1811.
On his second attempt at success in Spain, Wellesley moves to capture the fortified city of Almeida. French Marshal Massena moves to relieve the garrison and encounters the British in a defensive position, centred around the village of Fuentes De Onoro.
