Ireland is the scapegoat for the BS since the 51st basically took the team for themselves a few years back, iv not seen every NWWC team for Ireland down the years, but I know it struggles to get players and it's the most Irish of a team iv seen personally. Not 100% Irish but I know most of the non Irish have an Irish parent, or grandparent so we took them in. We don't have the luxury of fielding a full team in recent tourneys at least.
Also the Spaniard grela I believe has Irish in his family, surprised if he didn't considering he's IRA mad. He knows more than Irish history then myself. Admittedly iv not done too much prying, but its always been the case and its "close enough" to irish to at least play.
