French players can't really be considered 'EU' as most of them don't possess the capacities to communicate with the rest of the group.  :-X

That being said .. I'd dream of a NA company like the one we had, back in the 92nd.
Don't worry about what people think, they don't do it very often.

The training match against the 15thYR went very well, a tight score of 11-9 that the 15thYR fully deserves. They were rather pleasing to play against, skillwise as much as stylewise, they took risk, played kinda released, which reminded me of the former groupfightings matches I used to prefer much more than those I tend to play nowdays. Video to be uploaded within the day.

Edit : Video uploaded !

Our preparation for the tournament ended with that match, we starting tonight at 18:30BST, with in our group the 12th, the 66th and the 6te. We were clearly placed in the Group of Death, and we'll be looking forward to prove we can come on top of it. The full bracket can be found here.

My personal predictions for tonight : Group A : 85e + 66th Qualified / Group B : 77e + 72nd / Group C : 17e + K-KA / Group D : 15thYR + 18e. Should be a very good event, which will be obviously recorded on our side.

Was really cool yeah, we expected you to put a hell of a fight but certainly not to be as dominating as you were against us. Was so sad to lag that much in the Bo3 and this 1v1 .. gosh ! Really promising for your regiment, hope you can capitalize on that and achieve many more things in future ! :)

As the sentence above let it expected, the 12th was stronger last night against us, beating us in the first Bo5 and later on in a deciding Bo3 as we were on a perfect equality in our group, (we also lost against a way better 66th team, but the 12th felt short against the 6te that we had beaten in our opening match). So we couldn't make it out of the group, a really disappointing performance for us obviously but we'll try to learn from that and come back stronger.

Videos should be coming soon, well played to the 66th, taking the title!

Glad you enjoyed it Tardet, we got a bit unlucky against the 6te I must say but everything else was more even, the match against the 72nd was extremely tense aswell which was a close 7-6 to them which dropped us out of the tourny.
I'm going to be uploading my POV aswell, always funny to see the fight from a seperate perspective, especially in the tight map.

Wednesday evening, we faced the IVe Corps (and some reinforcements) during their event which we were invited to (big thanks to Syrcrim for this btw). The idea was mainly to spend some times with the 31e Voltigeurs guys which we more and more often try to play with. Even though the whispers were quite complicated to set-up, the teamplay was certainly here, the 31e giving us many covering fires and trying to stick with us a maximum. The 4e Hussard was also doing an excellent work at protecting our line, and even though the IVe Corps Art was sometimes decimating our ranks, it was overall rather pleasing to play a big event after so long. We'll play it again, in two weeks. 20 men attending for the 85e, thanks to the few invites.

Tonight, we were invited to the 17e 2v2 Event (hosted for the last time this week) and it was also really pleasing. Always complicated to face the 17e capable of gathering 30 experienced players but we didn't do too bad with the 59th as ally (the 17e playing with the 77y). I could record my PoV but I will be missing the last few rounds since I once again ran out of space on my computer so not sure I will upload it. We had a 25 line, with some massive reinforcement from the 31e again, a big thanks to them, was rather cool to lead such a big line again.

A bit late, but as promissed, the videos of our 3 matches during the Regimental Groupfighting Tournament.

No more event this week, the attention of many of our CO being faced towards Native this week-end. The 85e will be back in activity for a 1v1 LB against the 8pp on Monday. And if the 31e are fine wih it, we would be glad to provide some quid pro quo by inviting for them on Sunday, as they're attending the 25th Event as line.
