Unfortunately, all slots are full for artillery unless there is a dropout or change of heart of a regiment. Feel free to sign up for the skirmisher slot that is still open or again next Wednesday @7pmEST.

Absolutely. If we're not going to stick with the rule that sign-ups start promptly at 7PM Eastern, then what's the point of having rules in the first place?

If you or your officer has been in the teamspeak for the past half year, you'd know this already. I wasn't online for a good hour and a half; that's a good window of opportunity for your regiment to sign up and claim the artillery slot for this weekend by the way.
It has been common knowledge since we created the rule about 7pmEST, however it was never updated on the OP. I have updated the OP so that regiments that are new or not aware of the rule for specialist signups can now see on the front page under the "EVENT INFO" section.
As for this case specifically, Cole I'm sure you didn't know and you followed up with me properly on steam, but the HRE as a brigade is not new to the event and has in the past posted at the proper time for the deadline.
In addition, most times that I'm admining the event I will explicitly state at the end of the event that signups are every Wednesday at 7pmEST. I also make posts on this forum saying such and correcting other regiments, for example:
