It's simple really. If you think you are better than a player, beat them consistently in ft7s. If you can't do that, you aren't better.

That's not necessarily true, or at least I don't think so. I believe that players are usually categorized into 2 groups, duelists and groupfighters. For example, I believe that Vortex is a good groupfighter but a shit duelist, same for me.

How tf is the 30th above the 78th? I think we 9-1'd them our last 1v1... We also tied the 32e (when they had all of the best 1er mercs with them) in our last 1v1. 78th should be second without a doubt.

1: 1er
2: 78th
3: 32e
4: 30th/USMC
5: 30th/USMC
6: whatever the hell you want
We dropped 7-3 To you. Not 9-1

I base the regiment list on strength of roster and RECENT results

A regiment can go from nothing to one of the best very quickly, and results from 2 weeks ago can be meaningless if a regiment's roster changes enough.

I base the in form list off of my experience on a players impact in linebattles, official groupfights, tournaments, and to a limited extent ft7s, and I take into consideration their past accomplishments to gauge how in form they are.

We tried doing the in form list democratically and failed horribly.

If you put me as #0 on the in-form player list, I will be happy.

Alright, i'll just explain it then. If you can beat a player consistently in ft7's you are better than that individual player. If you beat them in groupfighting consistently you are better than that TEAM, not player. Groupfighting is a team effort and is not reflective on any singular player. The team is only successful because of it's different parts. IE: AP0C, Alexander, and myself beating others in 3v3s; just because we beat that team does not mean that we are individually better than the opposing players. To add, I'm considered a "duelist" yet i've won several groupfighting tournaments because of my team composition, not solely on my skill.

3 things,

1) how did I drop to #4? I've been playing great since you last updated. Yes, I got wrecked by Cade as a predicted when I didn't warm up, but I made up for that.

2)I'm not inactive, you never messaged me to talk to me, you sent me a message about Fancy and Swerp, and that was it.

3)
Q1) "What problems do you see in the community?"
Q2). What do you plan to do as CR?

A1a) Firstly, the biggest problem I see is that the competitive community is lacking fresh competition. I don't believe that it's regiments lack of desire to be competitive so much as ignorance to the community.
1b)I believe we don't have enough fun pub servers. Servers where both competitive and casual players can play together.
1c)I believe the community needs more competition both for regiments and individuals.

A2a) Now I believe Gluk has somewhat the right idea with his 'Bring back NA1' but I disagree with actually bringing back NA1 (I hated that server, singlehandedly killed my desire to pub). What I'd like to do instead is work with members of the community to open up multiple pub servers, 1 on battle like NA1, but improving on things that I viewed as annoyances from NA1 (like combat speed being on medium), another on TDM, DM, Siege, Naval Battle. I will, of course, commit my own server to this.
The purpose of these servers are of course to promote competitive players to mix with pub players etc, and to advertise the larger community to smaller regiments/pub players.
Recruitment on these servers would be open to any regiment that allows recruitment on their own servers.
2b)I'd like to bring back PUGs
2c) I'd like to host some competitions that can include both non-competitive and competitive players/regiments, starting hopefully with bringing back your coaching competition.
2d)I'd like to host a bi-weekly tournament targetted towards both comp and non-comp players, this will be explained better when I set it up.

This is just off the top of my head, I might decide to add things later if I think of them, or if the community strongly desires them.
btw we can't populate 1 server yet you want like 5

Yes. Because if you only have 1 option for a server, let's say battle, and have 100 players, 20 of them are willing to play battle and the other 80 are not, then that's 80 inactive players. If you have 5 servers, 20 like battle, 20 like siege, 20 like tdm, 20 like dm, 20 like naval battle, then sure you don't populate 1 whole server but you get people to be active in the servers they like.

It's not about filling a server, it's about getting people to play, and as someone who used to pub a lot, I strongly feel like variety is the key, as it gives people options.

It's simple really. If you think you are better than a player, beat them consistently in ft7s. If you can't do that, you aren't better.

Mmm, sort of.

If you challenge someone to an ft7 and you consistently lose, you might be worse.

But if you beat mutual opponents that they lose to, then you might just have a problem with their specific style.

I don't think so

Right now the 30th are boasting Cade, Theodin, Pinoy, PurplePanda, and Marksman which are all quality players

Definitely enough quality to see off USMC/AEF/23rd

If I had to chose, I would say you guys beat the 78th as you guys getting stronger also came at the cost of them getting weaker.

NA Assault failed for a number of reasons which is sad really.  It had some pretty neat things that most servers dont have.
