well gen 1 was the best
I disagree
Spoiler
Talkin' shit about Sunflora, when you got basically the same thing, what's it's name? Flabebe? What?
Is this literally just a sword?
Introducing Musharna, the fetus pokemon!
Aaannnd Pidove, just a pigeon, you can tell the amount of imagination put into this.
Woobat? What the fuck is this thing? Zubat on crack?
Is this just a guy in a gi or what?
Another thing that just looks like a regular animal.
This is just an Egyptian coffin with hands and eyes. Spooky!!!
Where are it's eyes? Is it just 2 gears?
And its evolution, a chandelier!!!
1. Flabebe isn't nearly as bad as Sunflora as it is only the first stage of an evolution tree that actually has a theme behind it's design (which is a fairy/nymph). Sunflora is literally just a sunflower with legs and a face
2. Also another pokemon that is the first in a 3 stage evolution line that evolves into Aegislash, one of the coolest and most competitively viable pokemon from gen 6. The first stages of an evolution aren't supposed to be spectacular and I don't really think it particularly has a bad design
3. You cannot say that Musharna is a bad design and say that drowzee (which it shares many inspirations with in terms of design) isn't
4. Every Gen has a generic bird design Gen 1: Pidgey and Spearow, Gen 2: Hoothoot (It's a fucking owl) Gen 3: Taillow Gen 4: Starly Gen 6: Fletchling (although this one isn't as generic imo as it evolves into a fire bird later on)
5.Again, you can't say this looks bad but say that zubat doesn't
6. Hitmonchan is a boxer, Machamp is a wrestler, this guy is a martial artist
7. This looks just about as regular as any other 1st stage bug pokemon
8. Cofragigus is cool man. You find it in a tomb and it has a unique ability that basically nullifies any other pokemons ability if it touches it. Besides, the game needs more ghost type pokemon
9. Yeah, I agree they screwed the pooch on that one lol
10. I forgot this was even a pokemon
11. That whole evolution line is awful
12. This pokemon makes alot more sense when you find in game in a graveyard
13. I like the design on this one as well. Like I said before, there aren't too many ghost types and this one is unique in being the only ghost/fire in the series
The point I'm trying to make is that each generation is more or less of the same quality with each having their ups and downs
