I still don't understand why merges like this happen. It just dries up the community even more. It's not like the 79e was doing badly or wasn't competitive enough. Likewise it was hardly as if the 17e wasn't going to be successful again. It's sad to see pointless merges like this happen, the more competitive regiments in the community the better at this stage in the game imo.
