Italy is surprised that the German people would listen to a Russian who is most likely just planted to hurt the German Empire.

Einigkeit macht stark!

His Majesty, the King of Belgium, member of  the N.I.C suggests all nations involved in said pact to add an additional aspect to the Northern Intellectual Committee. The Northern Intellectual Committee would serve as a humanitarian service organization working for POW rights and provide food and supplies to these only, and not the soldiers of any specific nation. Any prisoner of war, doesn't matter which side, would get humanitarian service, unless the warring countries involved do not want to give them aid. His Majesty asks the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Sweden to react to the announcement as soon as possible.

Kongeriget Danmark

His Majesty the King of Denmark would be happy to accept the idea of the N.I.C to also work as a humanitarian organization for POW's rights, as we have seen during this war that the soldiers who have been so unlucky as to be taken captive, suffers horribly with inadequate housing and food.
We hope that the other nations who are a part of the N.I.C will also accept this new addition to the pact so we together can work for a better Europe.

His Majesty the King of Denmark can understand that the Kaiser of Germany is upset at these socialist instigators who are spreading horrible ideas to the German people but he still asks if Lenin doesn't at least deserve a trial?, we are after all civilized nations and even the murderer of the Austro-Hungarian Archduke Franz-Ferdinand received a trial according to the law.

The German Empire has heeded the words of the Kongeriget Danmark, so to show the German Empire is a merciful nation, we will giving "Lenin" a trial according to the law, but he will not be allowed to speak for himself.

Devlet-i Aliyye-i Osmâniyye
"Devlet-i Ebed-müddet"

Economic matters:

The Ottoman Empire has announced it will offer to sell oil to warring nations for lower prices then the Russians. We hope to increase our export with this action.

Internal matters:

Sultan Mehmed V has announced he will give away more of his absolute powers as a Sultan, "after the Young Turk revolution in 1908, I think it is wise to have more faith in the Ottoman Constitution and Parliament, and hopefully satisfy a larger part of the Ottoman populace"

Einigkeit macht stark!

His Majesty, the King of Belgium, thinks the funding the N.I.C would receive for the POW rights is not sufficient, hence he sends out a telegraph to the Russian Tsar in a request for him to be an economical patron of the N.I.C, with the benefits including receiving the new technologies found in the research programs.

"Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno"

The Swiss government questions the need for the N.I.C to handle POWs when they are clearly an organisation established by a singular nation. The Red Cross already deals with the care of POWs and is an internationally recognised organisation that holds no affiliation to any one singular, or multiple, nations. The Swiss Government kindly requests that the N.I.C do not handle POWs but instead allowed the Red Cross to carry on its duties in upholding the Geneva Convention.

Einigkeit macht stark!

His Majesty, the King of Belgium, asks for the Swiss to not meddle in Belgium's business, like the Swiss ruler asked his Majesty in their confidential conversation a number of days ago. In addition, the N.I.C is also backed by Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands, and not just Belgium. Finally, has the red cross done anything of actual meaning to POW? The organization seems to have disappeared when the war started, and Belgium doesn't intend to back down on helping hopeless soldiers in the field of battle.

"Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno"

The Swiss Government refuses to allow N.I.C "aid" workers into Switzerland

Belgium has clearly forgotten that the Red Cross operate without the control of any government has is doing work for POWs as we speak. The Swiss government will allow the Red Cross to carry on the work it has done internationally for years now. The N.I.C is not internationally recognised and clearly simply a Belgian puppet.

Spain too questions the need for the NIC to be working with POWs, as it was set up as a technological research committee in the first place. However, we praise the Belgian actions for taking an interest in those affect by the war, and we hope other nations will follow suit.
