If the refs failed to read the rules and check the rosters properly then why should the player be punished? Now idk if there was any back and forth between the reg leaders and Sanders about this but from what I’ve seen it’s either the refs fault for the above or the leagues fault for not properly informing the referees about Sanders not being able to play

So let’s go into detail about this, I had told sanders plenty of times during our matches and anytime I saw him. “IF YOU PLAY FOR US YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY FOR 18e, YOU KNOW THAT” he knew what he was doing. This isn’t just some bs not knowing the rules so no getting around that. 18e didn’t understand that which is why they were not given a 0-10 but sanders will not get a pass just due to ignorance of refs in this community.

If it was a player who was not warned and told before hand multiple times it might be different. But sanders knew what he was doing and even said so when I told him he was banned on steam. ALSO stating 18e was using other players from other regiments. So...if we really want to get into this we can apparently look at multiple GUIDs and see rule breaks there.

Apparently ya do to be throwing a fit and pulling out cuz one of your players broke the rules.😊 Like marceaux stated if it was nefarious on your end then we would have given then forfeit but due to admins ignorance the player was only punished not the whole regiment.

Either way, Sanders knew he was double regging and everyone knows double regging is not allowed. He chose to do it anyway despite warnings from 1tes so therefore the individual is being punished. If 1 player stops a regiment from playing then they shouldn't be playing regardless. There is no more discussion to be had about this. 18e wishes to drop due to sanders being banned so that is fine they may do so. The 8th will take their place in the playoffs. Bracket will be adjusted to reflect this.

Thing is sanders was only with us until that match. Now that he chose to do that he wouldn’t play with us banned or not. Only reason he played for us is cuz he said he was only with us. But then played for 18e if he played with 18e then us. I’d take the punishment in that circumstance, aka why no reg is being punished here only a player who chose to break the rules after multiple warnings that he could not do so.

My personal opinion is to overturn the ban on Sanders. If the referees had the ability to check a centralized roster to ensure the lineup of players is clean (which is their job as stated on page one), along with reg leaders being able to see if a player is on two rosters (so if Chriseh saw that Sanders was on two rosters he could bench him beforehand), none of this would have happened. The referees should have communicated to Chriseh and failed because of a lack of proper league organization regarding rosters. Now all I see is the 18e being punished for something the referees should have prevented in the first place, or Chriseh could have prevented had he been informed properly
