It's funny how my generation (13-25) will be the ones most affected by the vote yet most of my generation will not be able to vote on our future.

No they shouldn't. I've often found that the people who argue that 16-17 year olds are mature enough to vote are often the same individuals who say 16 year old Jihadis who went to fight for ISIS are too young to know any better and should be forgiven. You can't have it both ways.

They just want 16/17 year olds to vote because they think they can be more easily manipulated and are more naturally predisposed to voting to stay in the EU. Exactly the same line of thinking as to why the SNP gave children the right to vote in the Scottish referendum.

Ha. Don't underestimate nationalism, especially under young and politically inactive people. This is a referendum with a very easy 'yes or no', not an election.
