Now, this isn't really pissing me off, just something that's happening and annoying to deal with
So, last month I wrote an article about Charlie Hebdo for the school paper. I basically bashed liberal apologists and stated why religion and radical Islam are incompatible with modern, egalitarian ideals. The end point of the article was to defend free speech. Saying it doesn't have to be popular, considerate, or "nice", that it's whatever you want it to be and that people should express themselves fully.
Now I was told by the editor in chief of the paper that someone wrote a letter to the editor in order to stop my long running evil. I haven't seen it yet as the next issue isn't out but i was told she completely missed the point of the article, focusing on the religion side of it.
In a way, I'm happy because I got people talking, any publicity is good publicity, etc. and I mean, she's expressing herself so I won't argue with that.
In another way, I'm annoyed. Just cause I can't really respond to it and I'm sure I would love to, that is if I even read the article.
So, pissed off? No. She has opinions, go nuts like I do. Annoyed? That depends on what her point of the article is I guess.
