About Us

   The Nr.33 Infanterie is a North American and European regiment that is relatively new to the community. The group was formed on the tenth of February of 2015. Although we are young, experienced leaders run the regiment with pride and vigor. As a whole, we are looking to grow in size and strength as time passes on; however, we are only looking for mature and respectable players. With the age minimum of sixteen, the regiment is extremely mature and no drama occurs. We simply aim to have fun and portray what an Austrian-Hungarian regiment what have done and went through. Historical Accuracy is another unique asset the Nr.33 brings to the table. All of our ranks, names, commands are correct in terms of what an Austrian regiment what have performed. History

There isn't a lot of recorded history of the Nr. 33, but there is several mentions of it participating in the Battle of Caldiero from 29 to 31 October 1805 just east of Verona in Italy. Historians are indecisive if the battle was in fact a victory or a retreat since both sides suffered heavy casualties. They do know for sure though that the Austrian "Armee von Italien" led by Archduke Charles began a withdrawal from Italy in early November.

Another mention of the Nr. 33 Infanterie is during the 1813 Leipzig campaign. They were noted for having similar surnames with other colonels-in-chief with a few different regiments during the campaign. The Nr. 56, Nr. 57, and the Nr. 33 colonels-in-chief all had the surnames of Graf.
