Rebinding the zoom keys

Does anyone know how I can rebind the zoom in and out keys to something else? They are the +- on the numpad but my laptop doesn't have them, and it doesn't look like I can change them in settings.

I do have them, they just don't work for zooming. It's specifically wired to the numpads + and - not the other one
