First they ban the Saint's Row games, now burqas... Damn you Australia!
In theory we could do huge player numbers far over 500 players per server...  As such we will surely keep our promise to deliver you the 500 players per server.

We will probably go (far) over it, but that's for later.

Ban 'em in the entire nation, then I'll be happy.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this. On the one hand, down with a symbol of misogynist oppression, yay!

On the other hand, I really don't care what people wear, if someone wants to wear their KKK Grand High Mega Wizard robes or an SS Uniform to Parliament House, they have the right to wear offensive clothing. I don't know that this is really going to have the effect we want it to (less oppression for Muslim women) and might just end up keeping conservative Muslim women that wear it away from parliament house, which I don't agree with.

Ban the Hijab? No fuck that, a headscarf doesn't do anything positive or negative.

I'm all for immigrants and foreigners to intergrate into their new homelands culture and society, but banning Burqas and hijabs goes too far for me. That's an attack on personal freedom and liberties.

I don't think that has anything to do with it. More to do with the fact you can hide a fucking armory under a Burqa.

I guess you're right if you put it like that. Perhaps I was a bit quick to judge.

I just hope they don't turn this into something country wide.

Good on them. Australia isn't the bitch of the anglosphere anymore, I guess. Now they just have to uncensor all their pointlessly censored media and I might actually like them.

Not an RPG 'do :D :D ;D

Anyway, I have to ask: What were Muslim women with traditional garments doing near the Parliament House? Who involved the second sex in Government and Politics? Shouldn't they be at home, washing the dishes and taking care of the children? (Yes, that is what Muslims want their women to do in more conservative regions of the world, blame them for misogeny, not me, iz da truth, sadly....  :-\ )
Australia seems to be taking a lot of controversial measure lately, in terms of immigration and privacy, and I like it :P

Unlike Greece, Australia is a civilized country of actual worth.
