Ive got banners remived since I bought the game (yes also in events) because they look like shit.

One time for me is almost certain, we won't play the version 1.0 this month. Hinkel sad in this thread that the version 1.0 will come maybe to us as christmas present for us, so there is more stuff to the dev team do. Anyway, i think that all models are done, or at least most of then are, i believe that at least I, saw a lot of sneak peeks of the v1.0 units in this thread, like the Mississippi Infantry, Georgian Irish Regiment, 69th NY, Meagher Irish Zouaves and others.

Linebattles should be more about shoulder to shoulder formations

As cool as it looks in the films e.g Gettysburg and Gods & Generals, the fact that linebattles aren't shoulder to shoulder is what makes North & South fun and different from the tediousness of Napoleonic Wars.

NW doesn't even have linebattles. North and south should have a step forward and make a change with events where people need to use correct drill formations wise, perhaps and event where everyone was mixed up and moved into different units and had to ignore the cheesy regimental politics to get the job done with the use of correct formations of the period.

I host a N&S LB every wednesday, infantry only and a no spreading rule. Shoulder to shoulder fighting. ive been hosting it for almost a year and still there are people saying there are no shoulder to shoulder events >.<
