The US can only manage the spread of ISIS, but the Iraqis, Kurds and Syrians are the ones who have the power to defeat it.
The Yankees and other western nations need to own up, be even more responsible and dump a fuckload of arms, ammo, materials, supplies and every other bit of support to those fighting Daesh.

They have a long history of arming african warlords, south american dictators and other unsavoury characters... How about they support the other side of the political spectrum that is on the side of humanity.
