No, but for real, it just means there is a lot of pollen in the air and will affect people with seasonal allergies, myself included. So it sucks.

None, medals are unnecessary imo. Good performance shown throughout multiple lbs should be awarded with promotion and recognition.

I agree with you, but they can be fun for the rankers, giving them another thing to shoot for. And in a regiment where we don't use very many enlisted ranks, it will keep them busy.
