What is the best/most amazing shot you have ever seen in NW? MM stories count as well. It can be with any ranged weapon whether it's musket, rifle, cannon, or vodka bottle

I'll start, during one linebattle while leading the 7de as French voltigeurs, we set up a skirmish line on a hill and opened fire down at the enemy. One of my flankeurs, Bumby, somehow got a headshot on an enemy officer from what I estimated to be around 200 meters with his cavalry musket. It was a ridiculous and unbelievably lucky shot especially seeing as the officer was moving. I know who the officer was and I'll refrain from saying his name because I don't know if he'd appreciate it lol

Not to toot my own horn but I had an excellent one once. Just a few of us on this battle server and I was friends with the other guy on my team. He provokes me in some way and then rides off on his horse,must've gone about 700 yards when I shot that horse out from under him with my infantry musket.

I dont have any proof, but In the early days of NW, at the start of a LB on a large map, I got sniped out of my saddle by a enemy rifleman. It was only 15 seconds or so into the round, so when it happened, I was indeed very surprised.

I've done a few cross map shots like at Spanish Mtn. Those are fun.

I don't see that many great shots, I'm particularly proud of one I got which was around 7 or 8 at spawn on a 77y siege event, the spawn was blocked by a house but I managed to angle it just right

a certain 17th_Fus_Gishank got to shoot
1 teamkill..
then 17th_Cpl_Afroman got to shoot
about 10 kills
17th_Fus_Gishank takes the next shot
18 men died..
It was a brilliant shot.. but sadly aimed at our team
2 lines, 18 teamkills, I think one of the lines ragequited.

For me it must be a multi-regimental line battle. Our line was in a firing dual with the 15e and Hekko was able to headshot snipe me from across the map with his pistol. To make things even more impressive, I was running behind the line, as flag bearer, we had hill cover and had a major high ground.

The whole round no one said anything except: WOW, OMG, WTF.

If I recall correctly it was also one of the first kills Of the round.. GG Hekko
