I got it for about £6 from Ebay and it fits like a glove, so I got insanely lucky there.

It doesn't come out much, but I'll wear it when the weather gets apocalyptic and it's ridiculously warm.

Splinter trousers was a really rare thing - like "SNCO/Officer paid someone to make it" rare. But it is sexy.

Yeah and arent those usually field made with zeltbahns?

I know Zelts came with tin button but i think most vendor sell this as factory made perfection while confuse me to see the name "field made" unless soldaten really did follow the exact model of their wool trousers? 

Yours look like they cut the zelt up and sewed em up.
