Indeed, we had a list of 40-45 guys, and only 16 slots. Was just to make it fair and give a chance to everyone who deserved it.
I think UK could do the same, but the way they did is honestly far better and easier, we just like making things complicated when they're not, typically frenchie

I like your way better because it seems you have the best players now(since selection is over) and some other team may choose players that they think are good but it isn't fair to others who wasnt given a chance, to be honest.

I agree. Seems more fair and a better way to do it, than just choose the people you know are decent from a closed circuit of friends.

Well tbh its not easy to remeber everyone when you try to sort out a team but you also have some kind of responsability yourself to keep track of whats going on in the community when it comes to tournaments etc. If you dont show any interest at all then there's a great possibility you wont be considered when it comes to making the squad.

Last time the Dutch team wasn't complete too, we lost because we didn't had players like Rikimaru and a couple of others, we lost 10-0 because of that...

And yes the Dutch team has problems with attendence too, we lost because of attendence...
We thought it was OK because in other matches we had enough players, but that 10-0 game is really to blame on the date and 9PM is hard for some of us.( you know some of us have "strict parents", if you ask me more reasonable parents who don't let you game till 4AM in the morning but hey thats my opinion).
