 The ranking system of RM is just a renamed system of your average regiment. We might change it later, but the plan is:

Admiral (Adm) = Colonel
Vice Admiral (VAdm) = Lieutenant Colonel
Rear Admiral (RAdm) = Major

 Again, we might change it later. We do plan on using sailors as well as marines, if sailors aren't 100% partisan reskins.

Anyway, I just think a name change would be appropriate, if we were to become a fleet with sailors instead of just marines. But whatever

 A name change is already in discussion, but it would only occur, like I said, if we changed regimental structure ENTIRELY.

 No marines, that is.

 (Reasons being finding stuff on the Royal Marines is pretty damn difficult and time consuming compared to other regiments.)

 You didn't see our event earlier today with the 32nd Regiment of Foot. One round, we had an artillery shot hit 3 of the remaining line, in the same second that we were shot down by muskets. It was awful. One man survived... but he will never forget that moment, for it has mentally scarred him for life...
