So why cavalry/artillery now? I'd like to know why this latest change occurred.

We changed because attendance was dropping and people stopped recruiting as often. This change allows us to focus on specialist roles, and giving us mew material to work with. It will be an interesting experience, and of course, if things clean up and get better, we will revert back to line, and who knows, maybe keep a detachment   

Mmkay, letting line switch it up to cavalry or artillery roles is always good to play the game to the fullest. Good luck with the change and please try out the War of 1812 mod
