Just cranked this one out.

I was recording it in Livestream, from start to finish, but it only recorded the last 35 minutes!!!   So depressing.

I use a Wacom 3 tablet (the best of the old tablets), the pen that comes with it, and photoshop CS4

Also, I read that CS2 is now free?  If you're interested check it out.

Cool, we have been using graphics tablets in my IT course at college and I was thinking of investing in one because i really need a hobby, sure I might suck but eventually I might get a little better :P

Correct.

I can't get the hang of illustrator.  All those funky "Drag to draw" functions.

I just want to be able to draw something out, Illustrator has me dragging lines all over.  It just feels unnatural.  Unless I'm doing it wrong.

Goodness! That mans' legs! Holy... Crapola! Serious bow leg there. Lol. The top half is excellent, though. For sure.

<3 It's beautiful! Legs do look a bit weird though, but the shako and labels look fantastic!

His left leg (his upright leg) is about half an inch short.

My latest drawing, inspired by Keith Rocco's paintings

Tweaked Duuring's Colonial Dutch infantryman, the shortness of the legs is partially due to the camera angle and the fault of my reference pic that I used
