The Witcher.... such a fantastic, underrated series. Makes me wonder how on Earth there is not a thread for this.

The Witcher 2 is my 2nd favorite RPG of all time and sets the bar for all modern RPGs, and that bar is about to be set higher. Call me a sucker, but Witcher 3 is GOTY for me. An Open world with all the glory of a Witcher game? Hell yeah! What could possibly be better than a PC focused, open world RPG with amazing story, memorable characters, mind blowing visuals, tactical cRPG combat and an amazing soundtrack to go along with it? Hint: Nothing
To add onto that, CD Projekt Red are like the most amazing AAA developer's out there. They are the only game studio that comes to mind which I can trust will never make a bad game nor business decision. They believe in PC gaming first, no DRM, no micro transactions, no censorship and no paid DLC. They work purely out of passion, and it shows in their games.
Here is a gameplay trailer:

Honestly, if you don't get the Witcher 3 hype from watching that, you are not human
The Witcher 2
Not much that hasn't been said already about the Witcher 2 can be said. It truly is one of the finest RPGs crafted.

The Witcher
The Witcher 2 improved on almost every aspect of the Witcher 1, but it is still a great game and definitely worth the playthrough for the story. The game played almost 100% differently compared to the Witcher 2, it was more of a Dragon Age combat system, but regardless, the story and immersion of the game are fantastic.
