I have listed all options now with Positives and Negatives and will put up a poll now aswell. Things might still be changed and this is far from final, but I want to get a rough overview of what people think.

#1: 2 Leagues, roughly the same size (as it is)

Positives:
- larger Leagues allow for more diversity in opponents
- easy to manage
- somewhat fairly matched Leagues

Negatives:
- relatively large inequality between some regiments in the same League
- destroys fun for regiments in a League in which they are heavily outmatched
- less competitive for the very strong regiments

#2: 2 Leagues, League 1 smaller than League 2

Positives:
- very equal League 1 allowing for maximum competitiveness
- easy to manage
- League 2 very diverse

Negatives:
- League 2 not very balanced, making things less fun for regiments not as strong
- League 2 is less competitive

#3: 1 League

Positives:
- allows for maximum diversity and least segragation
- very easy to manage

Negatives:
- not particularly competitive
- regiments will get blown out very often
- very long Season

#4: Multiple Leagues, varying in size according to strength of regiments, play opponents twice

Positives:
- most equal Leagues, very competitive and more fun (no blow-outs)
- good Season length due to having to play each regiment twice (8-12 weeks most likely)

Negatives:
- little diversity in opponents
- somewhat difficult to manage for organizers
- depending on League sizes, possibly very long Seasons

#5: Champions League System (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Champions_League#Format)

Positives:
- actual tournament instead of only a League (K.O. Rounds etc.)
- very competitive, even for those already knocked out of Group Phase (lower K.O. Rounds)

Negatives:
- very unequal group stage
- weaker regiments will get knocked out early and then be sidelined for the rest of the tournament
- very difficult to manage

Also, some options are shorter (weeks, months) than others. Keep in mind that.

I think #4 allows for more competitive "tiers" and allows for more regiments to enter and feel more comfortable since they will be getting into a league of their skill levels and not matched up against opponents who outmatch them. In this way, regiments get to have fun and fight evenly skilled and lead regiments. Then again though, #2 makes it a little harder for most of the regiments because it will be moving down the some of the better regiments into league 2, presenting a harder challenge for league 2 regiments but at the same time makes league 1 far more challenging for the regiments in it. Really hard to decide between the two.

I voted number five. Having a system where there is more to work for instead of just winning the entire league means (hopefully) more people will want to be in this.
Also, recommendation: get someone, idc who, to regularly post as many matches as possible on YouTube, create some more hype
