If you are here, it means that you have shown the skill, heart, and dedication needed to catch the attention of our recruiters, and been deemed a valuable possible addition to our team.
First and foremost, we are a serious gaming unit within the community of Mount & Blade: Napoleonic wars. We will not tolerate immaturity or disobedience within our ranks. That being said, we are not the typical “die-hard” types that you might meet in other regiments. We’re here to have fun playing the game IN ADDITION to kicking major arse when we have to. If you’re a stick in the mud who plays the game simply to win and be the best, this probably isn’t the place for you, though we appreciate your interest.
Secondly, we are a community of real, living people, not demi-gods. We each have our own strengths, weaknesses, flaws, and talents. Even our officers make mistakes. In fact, due to your expectations of them, they may make even more mistakes than they normally would! You can not, and will not expect perfection from anyone within the regiment, regardless of rank. If someone makes a mistake, then knowingly blames it on someone else, please bring it to the attention of your officer or the Personnel Officer. Either way, it will reach the ears of the CO, and appropriate action will be taken. Dishonesty on this front will NOT be tolerated.
Thirdly, each and every one of us has their own lives and schedules. Whether it be school or a job, not every one of us will be available for every event or training session. The CO himself has a very inflexible and unpredictable schedule. We have no expectations of you to be at every event or training session. But if you will be absent, please let someone know. If you have too many unreported absences, you CAN be removed from the roster without warning. This will result in loss of any and all rank. If you wish to rejoin, you will start out at square number 1 with Basic Training.
Lastly, and I repeat: please have fun. If someone is bothering you or killing your experience for you or others, speak up. Our officers care about the men they lead, and you can rest assured something will be done about it. Have fun, and happy gaming.
Signed,
Capitaine Juggernaut
Commanding Officer
107e Régiment d'Infanterie
