I +1 this suggestion simply because I want to -1 everyone's post who spam regiment forums with retarded pointless posts then brag that they have 3k posts like somebody has actually enjoyed or found their 3k posts interesting/ entertaining or useful.

But 90% of the Regiment sub board is filled with useless and pointless posts.



Anyway, won't this increase e-peen wars? Atleast delete the post counts and focus on the infamy system more IMO.

It seems like there is a very high troll rate in this forum and that gives all of you reason that there is no hope in this community to handle a system like i suggested like it need to be.
I am pretty new in FSE forum so I dont know how many trolls and immature kids are running around here...still I am very thankful for this option in the crpg forum and the comunity there can handle it very well. I think you all should gain some hope in this community instead of thinking that there are 90% trolls who got no other job to do then going through a single guys post list and downvote everything...

Perhaps it could work somewhere. It's good for small, civil communities where people generally come just to discuss single topics and there's not much drama or dissent among its members. Definitely not here.

Maybe you should give it a try in some special forum sections where not that many trolls are running around...not making it public anyhow, the people who are posting there will recognize it and use it.
Its very good to have some silent feedback on your posts and you are probably right with butthurt people downvotung alot of posts, but there should be at least as many guys who could use this feature pretty good because they think they are not clever enough to post some good argument and just give the poster a sign that he supports him.

None of us are saying that we don't want the community to change, or that we don't want to think of new ideas. It's just that this specific idea doesn't fit the community, and anyway, regardless of the specific community or forum, I'd rather have people type out their responses than just to click a button to show agreement or disagreement.
