Dead regiment threads.

For example if a regiment name was reserved but on the thread nothing was posted other then "currently in work" and the account which created the thread had only 1 or 2 posts would it be possible for another person to take the regiment name if after a month nothing happened with the thread.

yes post about this has been spoken about before.
1)  check last post date if after a month speak to the regiment list creater and get them to replace the old link with yours
2) posters comments if under 5 chances are its dead
3) try and contact that person if they dont get back to you after 5-7 days go ahead
