Napoleonic Roleplay Server Regimental Events

Napoleonic Roleplay Server-or NRP as the regulars know it-has long provided both roleplays and large-scale battles of up to 250 players for the community to enjoy, boasting a community which is never short of eager recruits to throw themselves unto the fray.
We have always been happy to allow regiments to find new members on our server, with the 59th Regiment of Foot allowing us to become to go-to place to find new recruits old and new.
Now, NRP wants to provide an an environment for more seasoned players to practice the high-level gameplay they're used to, all while in the familiar surroundings of NRP's maps, scripts and community.

WHEN
 We will announce the allocated date after discussions between our staff and various regimental figures, to find the best time for all players. Our events will most likely be once per month; we will not hold them as often as regular events, to avoid interfering in other regimental schedules were possible and to keep things fresh!

WHERE
NRP_Role_Play

WHAT
 Line battles with the organisation and discipline to match above and beyond the standard of Regimental Events, but with NRP's much adored casual-community focused approach and our gameplay enhancing scripts. These include thing such as:

- MEDICS: Take a nasty hit in that last melee? Bullet to the knee? Not to worry; flagbearers and rifle sergeants come equipped with medic knives which can patch their team-mates right up!
- GRENADES: Attacking the high ground? Enemy in good cover? Not to worry-footguards come equipped with grenades which can knock over or even kill players, the ideal way to turn the tide in a battle if used cleverly. Be careful though; they're an early design and are very temperamental, you could easily lose your arm to them as soon as you pull the pin! Lines can split up and break formation should they hear the infamous hiss of a grenade or spot the telling smoke; we know even the most disciplined soldiers would want to dodge them!

RULES

General

-No FiC - No firing when in charge
-No RiC - No reloading when in charge
-No RoL - No reloading when in charge
-No OA - No shooting the officer outside of a charge
-Pub players must be in the teamspeak of that regiment, Pubplayers can be found in the supporting discussion on the official group https://steamcommunity.com/groups/officialnwrpcommunity
-Our events will be casual in regards to chat-conduct, so don't be afraid to chatter or poke fun at your friends; we value great gameplay and great communities going hand in hand"

Infantry

-Minimum of 5 to a line, no maximum
-Teams can fortify forts, but must remain in formation when inside of them.
-Address gaps after a reload
-No FoL - No firing outside of the line

-No dragoons
-Maximum of 15

-Footguards spawn with Grenades
-Maximum of 10 to a line

-No rocket artillery

NRP will also be happy to use our dedicated discord server (link below) to host any regiments who take part; simply get in contact with one of our discord admins and we'll set you up with a private voice+text channel for your regiment.
