YouTube historical intro

hello, I am looking to start a new youtube channel, but I can't use Sony Vegas, does anybody know how to make a decent almost Napoleonic intro? something like Diplexes or Prince of Macedon

I used Napoleon : Total War with darthmod to make intros for my regiments videos, with a touch of audio and flashy text.
