If youtube vids can load quick on a macbook it should load fast on any pc but of course I think Internet is more of the issue.

So basically since the videos load fast for you then either we're lying when we say it doesn' load fast for us or we just have bad computers? Of course, that's what people have been saying from the beginning. The issue is not debating whether this complaint is actually valid, because it will vary from person to person and computer to computer. He made the thread to try to find a solution to the problem. Obviously he's having the problem if he made the thread. The fact that your macbook loads it quickly does not mean that he's lying or anything...

What I'm saying is that I don't think the computer is the issue but either his webbrowser or his internet.

That's why it said it seemed like you were saying that, and I didn't quote you directly. Even if it is his internet, the point of the thread is still to find a solution to the problem by making a change on the forums. He can't just get a new internet provider because he's having trouble watching videos on the FSE forum, and I doubt it's his browser's problem.

Going back to the thread I can agree on that videos in signatures are annoying. Other then that it works great for me and I'm happy with the current system.

I know everyone likes it but I'm going to complain that the code for Youtube players is laggy and unneeded.

• Lags even faster computers; you have to load a client and the video
• Is able to be placed in signatures and is very annoying on my mobile phone
• There is no restriction that prevents 15 videos on a single page Example
• I perfer full sized players and watching it via Youtube itself.

Your post is of the extreme case of 38 possible videos loading simultaniously, this would mean a total of around 2-3 videos per post on a single page ... which has yet to happen and will probably not happen (Unless for trolling purposes now pointed out).

But even your example is very limite to 1 video every 2 posts which does not even lag my Dual core with only 3gb of RAM. I could probably load it up the same on my computer at work which are barely even pentium 4 with 512mb of RAM. It may be a strain on resources for your internet but thats really about it nowadays.

Your 38 example was disproportionate to what has actually happened thus far, also if you had 38 videos in said post on a page without spoilers don't you think that falls into:

Making unnecessary posts with no valuable content will be regarded as breaking the forum rules and punished accordingly. Try to avoid double posting, whenever it is possible. If you want to add something to your post, edit it, do not make a new one. Also, do not post the same thing on several places of the forum without permission.

This means you could loa up to 14 replies of YouTube player.

While the front was an extreme example it was to show that threads with YouTube links typically lag. No spoiler only rule is being forced and is annoying. Technical-wise, I'm going to check it out on more computers but I've generally found that some load the video and others have a clip art before loading it.

Currently there are no examples of overuse of youtube link to substantiate a problem of 14+? I have yet to see one going over around 5 or 6 for 15 posts ... which is not an issue as far as I can see.

The Issue is that YOU find it annoying to load a "Few" videos without even playing them, have you ever considered you do not fit into the margine of gaming rigs right now? I know my Dual core and 3GB RAM don't but it dosn't mean I should assume there are others like me.

The LIVE example you provided allowed me to load in 3 seconds flat, could i ask for your Computer Specs and Broadband speeds?
