Dear Mount and Blade Players,

Moved

A friend of mine and I have come up with a revolutionary idea for Mount and Blade Warband Napoleonic Wars (Please Don't Hate)

Introduction

Our idea is to add a brand new gamemode; Naval battle.
The mode will feature a map with Admin defined amount of ships and kind of ships(4th rate, 3rd rate, etc.) Each ship will be "Sailable/Moveable" like the rowboats already featured into the game. There will be two picked factions per battle; like a regular game. There will be several classes for the player to choose from for each faction. Depending on the type of ship, a certain amount of cannon shots into the hull will be able to sink the enemy ship, thus killing all of the players onboard.
Classes:
-Captain
-Officers
-Sailors
-Gunners
-Marines, etc.

Questions or comments are welcome!

What we need:

-Experienced or average coders.
-graphic artists(for signatures and art)
-3d Modelers
-Artist for textures

This idea has been thought of before (many many many many times) and is not possible in the MB engine. There is lag on maps when simple rowing boats are there and now you are talking about two huge ships?

FSE has already said that static ships are the best they can do in the current engine.

We have up with new ideas, and we are going to thouroughly test them ,as soon as it is all properly worked out
