Suggestions and feedback [v1.0 - v1.1]

Hey guys,

with the release of version 1.0 .. do you have any suggestions for an 1.1 update?
Any new features you would like to see? Or any annoying bugs and problems, which should get fixed?

Not sure if its a bug, but the 58th New York Infantry is only available in commander battle. It's not an option in TDM or battle.

About 15-20 units are locked to player regiments, which can be played, if you join the regiment.
Like the 58th New York is an exclusive unit, which you can play in TDM or battle, when you join the 58th New York.

In Commander Battle, you get just a preview to those regiments.

Same for the 1st Sharpshooters, 14th Brooklyn and such..

There are many units only available in custom battle. I believe the units not available for regular gameplay are regimental specific units that you need to be in the specific regiment to play.

In terms of suggestions? I like how it plays at the moment overall, although the Sharps are lacking any real use in CB that's an overall Warband/NW issue. Some more facial hair would be nice! Overall the revolvers seem a little underwhelming (even the big ole Dragoon) so it'd be nice to see them have a bit of a boost. The melee is really nice in the aspect that you don't (typically) get killed in one stab, but I notice that the bayonets seem to have a higher tendency to bounce.

That's all I can think of at the moment, most are personal preferences really.

Add Mexican Trumpeter too play the Mexican hat dance and the Alamo Theme. Also add a Banjo :P

But apart from that... nothing, it's all good!

Just a few things :P

- YES WE KNOW ABOUT THE BOTTLE! It's a feature...
- I did forget to add proper fife tunes to the Foreign fifer (it currently uses the default French ones from NW)
- All weapons were rebalanced, they had their lengths measured to their mesh lengths:
The bayonetted guns' lengths are slightly shorter than the mesh length, so the end of bayonet actually needs to enter the recipient's body a little before causing damage
- We know that cannons spawn sunk 2cm in the ground

Some more facial hair would be nice!
- have you seen how many facial hair options are available XD

Not sure if this has been noticed, but in the character creation the sliders don't match up to certain parts of faces; at least, my 0.5 face doesn't carry over (not counting the facial hair).

Everything is very good already :D But I guess if I have to I can put some things together and see :D :

- Maybe new units for the Foreign faction as been told by others. ( Doesn't have to be real much, just a little bit )
- Female death sounds? :D for female characters since it sounds so funny watching em die and scream as man lol
- Cowboy Class for the Union? That sort of Civilian we were talking about could be a cowboy as well and a normal civilian maybe, speaking of this maybe for all factions including the new Foreign one? Like every faction could have 2 sort of civilians, some sort of special one representing the faction's unique people, example : Union : 1 Civilian, 1 Cowboy class. Confederacy : 1 Civilian, 2 Rednecks maybe? lol. Foreign : 1 Civilian, 2 maybe Aristocrats or Lords, or maybe even King for Europe since it was common in Europe to have King.
- More (historical) generals for the Confederacy and the Union?

I think that it is it, I think it is already cool so these are just "extras" lol.

Oh, and you should totally fix a lod for the floors in train cars! The floors inside train cars disappear if you walk away from them.  :o

- Mississippi rifles with sword bayonets. (though sword bayonets would be heavy and reduce accuracy more so than a regular bayonet) <--would be a nice 'feature'
- I want my full manly beard! Character creation just teases me with them..
- Add Davy Crockett, with his coon skin hat (at least as a DEV unit) so we can see him fight at the Alamo!!!
