It is a nice and funny mod. You did a good work!

There are lots of glitches, bugs etc. of course bcz it is new. But it is playable.

I enjoyed it quite a lot, after playing for 3-4 hours. I think the basic rifle class is quite weak. I didn't experience the snipers, but after playing the grenadiers and the LMG, the rifle felt like a real let-down, for a class that should be the bulk of the force. I think in general the guns are a bit unresponsive with the new system, but it feels the worst with rifles. I'm not sure what would make them more interesting, really. Perhaps what it really comes down to is play style (riflemen aren't great in public when there's no organization).

I loved the LMG class, it's interesting how you can seem to get better accuracy from crouching, and are otherwise firing from the hip quite wildly.

I had a lot of problems clicking through weapons with the various classes (French grenadier has a few options, and the arrow buttons beside them never seem to correspond with the correct weapon; ie. I click to change grenade and it changes pistol).

I didn't play a lot with the artillery but the mortars seem like a really nice touch (I tried them only once and wasn't sure how to aim it, switched to something easier). I didn't try HMG either because it didn't seem intuitive, but I might be more adventurous next time.

Overall I was quite impressed and I had a great time, thanks for all the work folks! The maps, uniforms, and weapons are all really beautiful and bring WW1 to life in a very real way. Most of the maps also seem really well-designed for the gameplay, as well.

Hmm there are a few issues I have but not sure if all are down to the MOD, some may have just been the server.

I'm not going to get into bugs, such as sounds and pauses between movement as I'm sure the devs are already aware. i will just make my point in areas I think need improved.

Respawn time can take too long on occasion.
Sniper is OP, I got 37 kills on my first try with it, ridiculous. Either add more slots for snipers so counter sniping becomes more regular or turn down the magnification on the scope.
Heavy machine gun is overly complicated to figure out. Yes I know people will say "go look for the tips and hints online" but a new player coming in that isn't familiar with the community and forums will struggle. Have fixed points in each trench where the machine guns are stationary, this will prevent one team pushing back then enemy and surrounding their last spawn with machine guns and mowing them all down. During ww1 machine guns were mostly used to defend, not attack.
Going prone for me seems like it is vastly needed, especially when up against heavy guns and snipers.
I feel the need to introduce aim down sights is upon us.
Personally I prefer the only hold left click and release to fire, but maybe thats just me, I can get used to the new system.

I feel like i am picking holes here, I do really like the mod and i am excited to see where the devs take it.

I completely agree with this, especially with the toning down of scope magnification and having the ability to go prone, though I'm not sure how possible this is considering the fact that crouching was implemented it doesn't seem like too far a stretch to me.

Had fun with it, looking forward to playing more. I agree with most people that the sniper rifle needs some kind of sway or reduced magnification. I never played a sniper class last night, but I did pick up sniper rifles from dead ones a couple of times, and it just seems very easy to get kills that way. Rifleman class seems fine to me, as does LMG.

Despite some sound issues the mod is okay. Would have preferred they worked on it more so they don't have to update it and kill it.

god damn, Anthony is smart, he was able to get the shit AEF to tie with the best reg in the game. The tactical geniusness needed to pull off such a feat is insane. He's the Erwin Rommel of NW.

A couple more months of development and this might be the most polished of mods released for NW. Good luck and push out those bug fixes first, then concentrate on the extra fluff lads!

Fingers crossed we'll get some interested mappers coming in too soon.

Now we'll see how she handles events in the next few weeks.

Loved the mortars in NW. So you can imagine how I'm enjoying the mortar class in IE  8).
